Well, it has been over 6 years since the last release of my open source software project Secure Data Manager (SDM).  It is a password and other sensitive data manager – for securely storing, maintaining, and using your passwords, credit cards, etc.  http://sdm.sourceforge.net/

I started developing this application back in 2002.  The goal was to learn more about open source, Java desktop development, and obtain a password manager that I knew I could trust.  Open source password managers are really the best way to do it (if you can read code) – this ensures that what you get is not infested with any viruses.  The project has been an interesting project.  I don’t know if we will do any more releases, but I continue to use the product daily.   We might one day develop a mobile compatible version (that was one of our goals).
